Mellow Home is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Forecasting Analyst responsible for all forecasting and inventory planning activities. The Forecasting Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and updating a channel-specific rolling forecast for existing and future products by incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and external Partners.

About the Role:

·       Analyze historical sales trends, inventory levels, demand drivers, and promotional activities to maintain a SKU-level rolling forecast

·       Present demand plan insights and generate POs aligning with supply chain lead-time and capacity

·       Align forecast with sales and marketing to support seasonal sales event planning and post event analysis

·       Monitor variances between forecast, actuals and budget plan, identify opportunities and risks, and develop effective action plans

·       Collaborate with Inventory Management team to develop optimal inventory capacity for active, new, phase-out products

·       Lead communication in forecast review meetings with external retailer teams and internal cross functional teams on demand changes, sales forecast, and inventory availability

·       Maintain a streamlined reporting process, extracting and unpacking large data for standard and ad hoc analysis

·       Drive continuous improvement in the forecasting process and its accuracy through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Operations, and Product team

Basic Qualification:

·       1-2 years of forecasting, supply chain planning experience

·       High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

·       Strong analytical thinking, ability to prioritize, thrive in data-driven business environment

·       Strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible

·       Experience in Power Query, Power BI, Tableau a plus

·       Experience in e-commerce, Finance or supply chain a plus
