POPULAR QUESTIONS

For Mellow mattresses, we place an extra layer of 100% cotton treated with a safe fire retardant under the outer cover of the mattress. To ensure you aren’t being exposed to any harmful substances, the cotton layer is tested and certified by OEKO-TEX®. For more details on this certification, please contact us at support@mellow-home.com.

Our orders usually take about 1-2 business days to process before being shipped out. We do provide a rough estimate of when your shipment may be delivered on our Shipping page.
With the FedEx tracking number we provide, you can contact FedEx directly to arrange for special delivery instructions. Any charges and restrictions applied are not made by Mellow and are at the discretion of FedEx.

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. It typically takes 1-2 business days to process and ship orders. Once your Mellow product has shipped, you will receive another email with the FedEx tracking number that can be used to follow your package.

If you do need further assistance or details before the product is shipped, you are always welcome to contact Team Mellow. After it has shipped, we recommend contacting FedEx for more accurate details on your shipment.

We understand that situations arise and changes happen. If you decide to cancel your order before it has shipped, it is completely free of charge.
If the order has already shipped, we ask that you wait to receive the product before starting the return process.  We will then send you a prepaid shipping label, and the return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount of the item(s). You may contact FedEx to arrange for a return pickup or drop it off at the nearest FedEx.

Please note that orders are usually processed within 1-2 business days and shipped no later than the next business day.

If the box or mattress has already been opened or there are any other issues and concerns with your product, please contact Team Mellow.

Exchanges are not accepted unless the product is defected.

If you believe there are any issues or concerns with your product(s) that may qualify for warranty, please register your product on our registration page. Team Mellow will contact you as soon as possible.

We accept PayPal and all credit and debit card payments made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club.

Though we would all love to share a Mellow gift, we do not currently offer gift cards and are considering them for the near future.

After the product leaves our warehouse and once it is in the hands of FedEx, they will better assist you in providing more accurate estimated times of delivery. We do provide a more general estimate of how long it may take for you to receive your Mellow product here.

We currently only ship to the 48 contiguous United States (not including Hawaii and Alaska). We would love to be able to spread Mellow all over the world with your help of sharing us by word-of-mouth!

All our products are shipped through FedEx.

Unfortunately, FedEx does not deliver to an APO or PO box.

Compressed memory foam products may give off a strange smell when first opened, but no worries! It is completely harmless and dissipates after airing the mattress out. The best way to do so is by removing the plastic packaging as soon as possible and letting the mattress fully expand in a well-ventilated room. It may take several days for the odor to be gone completely.

We recommend removing the mattress from the box within 72 hours. It is best to remove the plastic packaging as soon as possible and let your mattress fully expand in a well-ventilated room.

You probably can’t wait to jump into your new Mellow mattress, but we do recommend allowing the mattress 48 – 72 hours to reach its intended thickness. If the mattress does not reach the promised size, please contact Team Mellow.

You can care for your mattress by spot cleaning with a mild detergent and damp cloth. Please allow for the treated area to air dry completely before covering with bedding.

The weight limit is 500 pounds per sleeper for Twin and Twin XL beds and 1,000 pounds per sleepers for Full, Queen, King and California King beds.
